1998 Taught and lectured at AQS Show and NQA Show. Appeared on Sew Creative with Donna Wilder. Lectured at Purdue Univ. to Old Tippecanoe Quilt Guild, West Lafayette, Indiana. Made a presentation for School House Series at Houston Internat’l Quilt Market.

1997 Presented program and workshop to Northland Quilt Guild and Common Threads Quilt Guild. Book transcript completed and sent to AQS. Judged Franklin County, KS Fair Quilt Show.

1996 Presented program to Olathe Quilt Guild, taught classes at Prairie Point Quilt Shop. Submitted idea for book to AQS.

1995 Designed the 1996 opportunity quilt for Blue Valley Quilt Guild. Began teaching Drafting a Sampler, Fine-Tuned Hand Piecing and Appli-Piecing.

1992 Began teaching a comprehensive beginner class covering color and fabric selection, basic drafting, recognition of patterns, hand piecing technique, basic appliqué, top construction, choosing and marking quilting motifs, quilting, and bindings. Presented a guild program and workshop on drafting to Blue Valley Quilt Guild and to Northland Quilt Guild. Judged Appleton City, Missouri Quilt Show.

1991 Taught block-a-month appliqué classes using own designs and instructional material.

1990 Taught machine piecing classes on Log Cabin, Around the Twist and a Christmas Pine Tree wall quilt. Taught block-a-month class using patterns from Mary Hickey’s Basket Garden book. Presented a lecture to Blue Valley Quilt Guild on accurate machine piecing.
